We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jim McDaniel, beloved Conductor and Artistic Director of the Carrollton Wind Symphony, whose extraordinary leadership, musicianship, and dedication touched countless lives and left a lasting legacy in the world of music education.

The Carrollton Wind Symphony is an all-volunteer band, sponsored by the City of Carrollton, Tx. Founded as the “Carrollton Community Band” in 1995 by John Zulli and a small group of musicians, we continue to perform regularly in the Carrollton area, presenting a series of four concerts annually. In addition, the ensemble preforms for various City of Carrollton special events, festivals, and conventions by invitation. The Carrollton Wind Symphony is led by Artistic Director Jim McDaniel and Associate Director Jim Moen.
